Synopsis
Requiring the Maryland Police Training and Standards Commission to develop a uniform policy, to be used by each law enforcement agency, prohibiting the use of a face covering in the performance of duty; prohibiting a certain law enforcement officer from wearing a certain face covering while in the performance of duty in the State, except when actively engaged in an undercover operation; and providing that a violation of the Act is a misdemeanor and is punishable by imprisonment not exceeding 2 years, a fine of up to $2,00 or both.
