Synopsis

Designating a motor vehicle insurer or the Maryland Automobile Insurance Fund as the agent for a driver or the estate of the driver with regard to a subpoena, summons, or other process issued in an action involving a motor vehicle under specified circumstances; authorizing process to be served on a motor vehicle insurer or the Maryland Automobile Insurance Fund under specified circumstances; and applying the Act to a case filed on or after October 1, 2013.
