Synopsis

Expanding the application of certain requirements for the construction of certain overhead transmission lines to include certain other transmission lines; requiring the Public Service Commission to consider certain effects when determining whether to waive, for good cause, the requirement to obtain a certificate of public convenience and necessity in certain circumstances; and repealing a requirement that the Commission waive the requirement to obtain a certificate of public convenience and necessity under certain circumstances.
