Synopsis
Authorizing the Montgomery County Board of Education to require public schools within the county to be open for pupil attendance for at least 180 school days or a minimum of 1,080 school hours instead of both during a 10-month period under certain circumstances; requiring a school open fewer than 180 days or the minimal number of hours to provide employees who earn an hourly wage to make up lost wages; and requiring a report to the Department of Education and the General Assembly on schools open fewer than a certain number of days or hours.
