Establishing for a Sheriff of Anne Arundel County vesting rights in the Employees' Pension System after accruing at least 8 years of eligibility service; and establishing that a Sheriff of Anne Arundel County elected or appointed on or after July 1, 2026, may retire with a normal service retirement allowance from the Employees' Pension System if the individual is at least 65 years old and has at least 8 years of eligibility service.
