Synopsis
Establishing the Police Officers' Performance Review Board as an independent board that functions in the Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services; requiring the Board to require all law enforcement agencies to collect certain data on certain citizen encounters with officers, establish standards for appropriate race neutral behaviors, and impose sanctions for racially discriminatory behavior by officers; authorizing the Board to hold hearings in conducting annual reviews of police officer performance; etc.
