Analysis

Synopsis

Establishing the Soccer Opportunities Program in the State Department of Education to increase opportunities for minority students to participate in soccer in their communities; authorizing a youth soccer nonprofit organization to submit a grant proposal meeting certain criteria to the Department for a program; and requiring the Governor to include in the annual budget bill for fiscal years 2027, 2028, and 2029 an appropriation of at least $100,000 for the Program.
