Synopsis
Altering procedures that a law enforcement officer is required to follow when the law enforcement officer has reason to believe that a child who has been detained is a victim of sex trafficking or a victim of human trafficking; providing that in a criminal proceeding where the defendant is a minor or a delinquency proceeding against a child it is an affirmative defense of duress to certain offenses if the defendant or child committed the offense as a direct result of sex trafficking or being a victim of human trafficking; etc.
