Synopsis
Requiring the Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services and the managing official of a local correctional facility with an inmate welfare fund to adopt specified regulations regarding the use of profits derived from telephone commissions; requiring that specified commissions be used for telephone calls that take place between an inmate and the minor child of an inmate; requiring that distributions be made according to the financial need of an inmate; and requiring the submission of a specified report.
