Legislation

Requiring the Department of Natural Resources to establish areas in the Chesapeake Bay as part of the public shellfish fishery area if the areas have an oyster density, as determined by a biological survey, of at least one oyster per square meter; and requiring the Department to establish natural oyster bars as part of the public shellfish fishery area that have been planted with oyster shell, planted with spat, or where the density of oysters is at least one oyster per square meter.
