Synopsis

Encouraging the State Department of Education to add a section or unit dedicated to addressing student truancy from school to further the purposes and goals of the Blueprint for Maryland's Future; and requiring the Division of Children and Youth in the Governor's Office of Crime Prevention, Youth, and Victim Services to develop certain strategies relating to student truancy from school.
