The Maryland Insurance Administration will conduct a public hearing on specific rate increase requests in the individual long-term care market made by Genworth Life Insurance Company and LifeSecure Insurance Company.
The purpose of the hearing is for insurance company officials to explain the reasons for the rate increases and for the MIA to determine whether the proposals are in compliance with certain Maryland laws and regulations.
