Sexually Violent Predators - Notification and Registration
Requiring a court to determine whether a person who is convicted of a
sexually violent offense is a sexually violent predator; providing
that, in making the determination, the court is required to consider
an evaluation of the person by an expert in the treatment of sexual
offenders and any evidence, including expert testimony, introduced by
the person convicted; requiring supervising authorities to notify
local law enforcement agencies of the release of a sexually violent
predator; etc.
