Insurance - Motor Vehicle Accident Compensation and Cost Savings Act
Repealing provisions concerning primary coverage in motor vehicle
insurance; imposing minimum requirements for basic and additional
personal compensation coverage without regard to fault in motor
vehicle insurance; permitting insureds to file suit in serious injury
cases for noneconomic loss and for uncompensated economic loss;
requiring insurers to reflect cost savings in rates for motor vehicle
insurance; authorizing the Maryland Insurance Commissioner to adopt
regulations under the Act; etc.
