Vehicle Laws - Speeding Violations in School Zones - Penalties
Authorizing the State Highway Administration or local authorities to
establish, on specified highways within a half-mile radius of any
school, school zones with maximum speed limits; providing that a
person convicted of speeding in a school zone is subject to a fine
double the amount that would otherwise apply, under specified
circumstances, subject to a specified limit; limiting the maximum
speed limits in school zones where a crossing guard is posted during
specified hours; etc.
