Cigarette Restitution Fund
Establishing a Cigarette Restitution Fund from funds received by the
State resulting from a judgment against or settlement with the tobacco
industry; providing for administration of the Fund by the Secretary of
Health and Mental Hygiene; and establishing a Cigarette Restitution
Fund Advisory Panel to submit to the Secretary recommendations and an
annual budget proposal that includes the available funds and proposed
expenditures for specified purposes relating to the use of tobacco
products, health care, tobacco farmland, and any other public purpose.
