Telephones - Change of Service Providers and Options
Prohibiting telephone companies from taking actions on behalf of a
customer to change the selection of telephone service providers and
options except in compliance with specified procedures; requiring
notice to be provided to a telephone service customer when changing
providers and options; requiring specified telephone companies to
offer a hold order or freeze to customers as required by the PSC;
authorizing the PSC to adopt regulations; and providing for an
administrative penalty for specified violations.
