Health Carriers - Drug Substitution - Notification

Synopsis:

Requiring specified carriers that require a pharmacist to substitute one drug for another drug for the same therapeutic use to notify the person for whom the drug is prescribed about the substitution; requiring the notice to be given to specified other persons under specified circumstances; and authorizing the Maryland Insurance Commissioner to adopt specified regulations.
