Patient Protection Act

Synopsis:

Altering the manner of determining the amount of reimbursement of health care practitioners by specified health insurance carriers; providing that the health insurance carriers may not reimburse a health care practitioner in an amount less than that specified in the carrier's reimbursement schedule that is applicable to the practitioner and is in effect on the date that medical services are provided; etc.
