Teacher Education Scholarship Program
Establishing a Teacher Education Scholarship Program to be awarded by
the State Scholarship Administration to students, upon completion of
their studies, who pledge to teach in a public elementary or secondary
school in any county with an overall teacher retention rate of 10% or
less; establishing the criteria for receiving and maintaining a
Teacher Education Scholarship; and providing for the repayment of the
scholarship if the student does not teach for 10 years upon completion
of their studies.
