Assisted Living Programs - Small Facilities
Prohibiting, before July 1, 1999, the Secretary of Health and Mental
Hygiene from imposing sanctions under the provisions of Chapter 147 of
the Acts of 1996, or any regulations adopted under that Act, with
respect to assisted living programs that provide services to 15 or
fewer individuals, unless specified circumstances relating to the
physical or emotional harm of a resident in the program have occurred;
requiring the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene to make a
specified report to the General Assembly before January 1, 1999; etc.
