International Ban on Antipersonnel Land Mines

Synopsis:

Urging the President and Congress of the United States to actively participate in the Ottawa Process and to take action to negotiate an international ban on the manufacture, stockpiling, transfer, and use of antipersonnel land mines; urging the President and Congress to resist efforts to cancel or weaken the current moratorium on the United States' use of antipersonnel land mines and to take steps necessary to end the United States' use of all antipersonnel land mines by the year 2006; etc.
