Eliminating a written notice requirement for victim notifications in incompetency and not criminally responsible cases; requiring notice to victims of court orders, hearings, or recommendations; allowing a victim to submit oral statements and information and requiring the consideration of the information in specified proceedings; requiring notification of victims by the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene of specified events and proceedings; providing for the right of victims and representatives to attend hearings; etc.
