Dear Mr. President:

In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the Maryland Constitution, I have today vetoed Senate Bill 442 - Harford County - Alcoholic Beverages - Stadium Beer and Light Wine License.

This bill authorizes the Harford County Liquor Control Board to issue a stadium beer and light wine (on sale) license to the owner or lessee of a professional baseball stadium for use on the stadium premises.

House Bill 217, which was passed by the General Assembly and signed by me, accomplishes the same purpose. Therefore, it is not necessary for me to sign Senate Bill 442.
