Dear Mr. Speaker:

In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the Maryland Constitution, I have today vetoed House Bill 902 - Education - Harford County Public Library Board of Trustees.

This bill enables the Harford County Public Library Board of Trustees to have up to 11 members. The Harford County governing body must appoint individuals to the board of trustees from nominees submitted by the board of trustees.

Senate Bill 557, which was passed by the General Assembly and signed by me, accomplishes the same purpose. Therefore, it is not necessary for me to sign House Bill 902.
