Synopsis:

Making it a felony to intentionally commit an assault that cases physical injury to another person knowing, or having reason to know, that the other person is performing official duties as a specified type of law enforcement officer under specified circumstances; providing that the District Court has jurisdiction that is concurrent with a circuit court in specified criminal cases involving assault on a law enforcement officer; etc.
