October 1, 2003; terminating the Board in accordance with the
provisions of the Maryland Program Evaluation Act (Sunset Law) by
repealing the provisions relating to the statutory and regulatory
authority of the Board to license and regulate licensed physicians;
requiring the Secretary of Health and Mental Hygiene to set standards
for the licensure of physicians and the practice of medicine in the
State; etc.
