Dear Mr. Speaker:

In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the Maryland Constitution, today I have vetoed House Bill 389 - Natural Resources - Complimentary Hunting Licenses - Hunting Stamps.

This bill provides that a complimentary hunting license issued by the Department of Natural Resources must include all applicable hunting stamps, except for migratory game bird stamps and bonus deer stamps.

Senate Bill 421, which was passed by the General Assembly and signed by me, accomplishes the same purpose. Therefore, it is not necessary for me to sign House Bill 389.
