Dear Mr. President:

In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the Maryland Constitution, today I have vetoed Senate Bill 269 - Sunset Review - State Board of Nursing - Electrology Practice Committee.

This bill repeals specified provisions of law relating to the State Board of Electrologists. It also establishes the Electrology Practice Committee within the State Board of Nursing and specifies the membership, terms, powers, and duties of the Committee.

House Bill 376, which was passed by the General Assembly and signed by me, accomplishes the same purpose. Therefore, it is not necessary for me to sign Senate Bill 269.
