Dear Mr. President:

In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the Maryland Constitution, today I have vetoed Senate Bill 486 - Kent County - Special Maryland Wine License Privilege.

This bill authorizes in Kent County the Board of License Commissioners to issue a special Maryland Wine License Privilege to specified applicants, and authorizes a holder of the Privilege to sell bottled wine under specified circumstances.

House Bill 430, which was passed by the General Assembly and signed by me, accomplishes the same purpose. Therefore, it is not necessary for me to sign Senate Bill 486.
