Entitled:

Local Departments of Social Services - Local Directors - Appointment and Removal

Synopsis:

Requiring that local directors of social services be appointed by local government officials from specified lists; providing that the appointment of local directors of social services shall be with the concurrence of the Secretary of Human Resources; prohibiting local directors from serving in an acting or interim capacity after 6 months; authorizing local government officials to remove local directors from office; etc.
