Synopsis:

Increasing from $500 to $1,000 the value of property or services for the purpose of imposing specified penalties relating to extortion; malicious destruction of property; theft; obtaining property or services by bad check; obtaining property by counterfeiting, theft, or misrepresentation; fraud; receiving property by stolen, counterfeit, or misrepresented credit card; identity fraud; Medicaid fraud; and exploitation of vulnerable adults.
