Creation of a State Debt - Garrett County - Salem School

Synopsis:

Authorizing the creation of a State Debt not to exceed $500,000, the proceeds to be used as a grant to the Board of Directors of the Maryland Salem Children's Trust, Inc. for the construction and capital equipping of a school building with classrooms, a kitchen and dining room, a media center, a mobile computer lab, a therapy room, an art and music room, restrooms, and a community room, located in Frostburg; providing for disbursement of the loan proceeds, subject to a requirement that the grantee provide and expend a matching fund; etc.
