Dear Mr. Speaker:

In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the Maryland Constitution, today I have vetoed House Bill 411 - Montgomery County - National Capital Trolley Museum Loan of 2001.

This bill amends the Montgomery County - National Capital Trolley Museum Loan of 2001 to allow the proceeds of the loan to be used for construction of a building at the site of the National Capital Trolley Museum, located in Montgomery County and makes the Act an emergency measure. Senate Bill 328, which was passed by the General Assembly and signed by me, accomplishes the same purpose. Therefore, it is not necessary for me to sign House Bill 411.
