Dear Mr. President:

In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the Maryland Constitution, today I have vetoed Senate Bill 457 - Cecil County - Tax Sales - Auctioneer's Fee.

This bill provides for an increase to $7.50 per property sold in auctioneer's fees in Cecil County. The fee is allowed as an expense relating to specified tax sales of property and makes the Act an emergency measure. House Bill 569, which was passed by the General Assembly and signed by me, accomplishes the same purpose. Therefore, it is not necessary for me to sign Senate Bill 457.
