Dear Mr. President:

In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the Maryland Constitution, today I have vetoed Senate Bill 909 - Task Force to Study the Impact of Autoimmune Disease in Maryland.

This bill establishes the Task Force to Study the Impact of Autoimmune Disease in Maryland. Senate Bill 909 provides for the membership and duties of the Task Force and requires the Task Force to submit a report to the Governor and the General Assembly. House Bill 1494, which was passed by the General Assembly and signed by me, accomplishes the same purpose. Therefore, it is not necessary for me to sign Senate Bill 909.
