Dear Mr. President:

In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the Maryland Constitution, today I have vetoed Senate Bill 922 - Garrett County - Wine Festival License - Sunday Sales.

This bill authorizes a holder of a wine festival license that is issued for use in the 11th or 15th election district in Garrett County to sell wine on a Sunday beginning at 10 a.m. and not in conjunction with a meal. House Bill 1407, which was passed by the General Assembly and signed by me, accomplishes the same purpose. Therefore, it is not necessary for me to sign Senate Bill 922.
