Marriage Amendment to the Constitution

Synopsis:

Adding a new section to the Maryland Constitution to establish that marriage shall be between a man and a woman only; providing that the right to establish specified unions between specified people shall be reserved to the General Assembly and the people of Maryland; and submitting this amendment to the qualified voters of the State of Maryland for their adoption or rejection.
