Department of Housing and Community Development - Rental Allowance
Program Fund
Repealing a specified provision of law limiting the time period in
which the Secretary of Housing and Community Development may provide
rental allowances to recipients under the Rental Allowance Program;
establishing the Rental Allowance Program Fund as a special,
nonlapsing fund; requiring the Secretary to administer the Fund;
imposing a special transfer tax; and requiring that the revenue from
the special transfer tax be distributed to the Fund.
