Ports - Delay of the Sale of Port Operations
Requesting the President of the United States to delay the sale of the
Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company to Dubai Ports World
until there has been a thorough public review and disclosure of the
transaction; and expressing the support of the General Assembly for a
congressional moratorium on the sale and a congressional override if
the President vetoes the moratorium legislation and refuses to delay
the sale pending a thorough public review and disclosure.
