Commercial Law - Abandoned Property - Notice to Apparent Owners
Repealing a provision of law that requires the State Comptroller to
cause notice relating to abandoned property to be published in
specified newspapers of general circulation; requiring the State
Comptroller to maintain an abandoned property database; requiring the
Comptroller to add the names and last known addresses of presumed
owners of abandoned property to the database within a specified time
period; etc.
