Family Law - Criminal History Records Checks - Employees of Facilities and Other Individuals Who Care for or Supervise Children

Synopsis:

Expanding the categories of persons required to have a criminal history records check; authorizing the Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services to waive the fingerprint requirement on behalf of the Department of Human Resources; repealing a requirement that an employer apply for a printed statement on or before the first day of operation of a facility; repealing mailing requirements for acknowledged receipts of applications; altering appeal procedures; etc.
