Repealing the requirement that a court sentence a defendant for a period of imprisonment that will expire between the first day of April and the last day of August if the court considers it expedient; repealing a provision authorizing a court to sentence a defendant to a specified period of imprisonment that is less than the minimum punishment required under specified circumstances; etc.
