Child Abuse and Neglect - Failure to Report - Penalties
Establishing that specified persons who are required to provide notice
or make a report of suspected child abuse or neglect, while acting in
their professional capacities, may not knowingly fail to give the
notice or make the report; establishing that any other person, under
specified circumstances, who has reason to believe a child has been
subjected to child abuse or neglect is required to make a specified
report; establishing a misdemeanor for knowingly failing to report
child abuse or neglect; and establishing penalties.
