Criminal Law - Possession of Marijuana - De Minimis Quantity
Establishing that a person convicted of the use or possession of less
than 10 grams of marijuana is subject to imprisonment not exceeding 90
days or a fine not exceeding $500 or both; providing that, unless
specifically charged by the State, the use or possession of less than
10 grams of marijuana may not be considered a lesser included crime of
any other crime; and providing that a specified sentence imposed under
the Act shall be stayed under specified circumstances without
requiring an appeal bond.
