Health Occupations - Dental Hygienists - Local Anesthesia
Authorizing a dental hygienist to administer local anesthesia by
inferior alveolar nerve block under specified circumstances; requiring
a dental hygienist to complete education and examination requirements
before performing specified functions; requiring a dental hygienist
who completed requirements before October 1, 2011, to take a course
and clinical examination; requiring that on or before October 1, 2015,
the State Board of Dental Examiners shall report to the General
Assembly on how the Act has affected the dental profession; etc.
