Public Utilities - Electric Vehicle Users and Charging Stations - Exclusions
Altering the definitions of "electricity supplier" and "public service
company", as those terms apply to specified provisions of the Public
Utilities Article, to exclude a person that owns or operates equipment
used for charging electric vehicles; and altering the definition of
"retail electric customer", as that term applies to specified
provisions of the Public Utilities Article, to include specified
persons and to exclude a person that charges an electric vehicle at an
electric vehicle charging station, with a specified exception.
