Consolidation of Rural Development Programs

Synopsis:

Renaming the Forvm for Rural Maryland to be the Rural Maryland Council; expanding the Council's membership; altering and expanding the Council's Executive Board membership; placing the Council, for administrative and budgetary reasons, under the Maryland Department of Agriculture and requiring the Department to provide funding, staff, and resources for the Council; transferring from the Board of Public Works to the Council the administration of the Maryland Agricultural Education and Rural Development Assistance Fund; etc.
