A legislator's financial disclosure statements filed on or after January 1, 2019 are available on the State Ethics Commission's website at ethics.maryland.gov. Section 2-706 (b) of the State Government Article of the Maryland Annoted Code, requires the Joint Committee on Legislative Ethics to maintain statements filed by legislators with the Joint Committtee and to make the statements to the public for examination and copying. The Joint Committee is also required to maintain a record of the name and home address of an individual who examines a statement filed with the Joint Committee of a member of the General Assembly, as well as, the name of the member whose file was examined.

Section 5-513 (d) of the General Provisions Article requires certain reports to be available to the public on the Internet through an online registration program.

Your name and address may be shared with the legislator whose file you examined in accordance with § 2-706 (b) of the State Government Article, if that legislator has requested that that information be provided.

Section 5-514(d)(2) of the General Provisions Article prohibits the Department of Legislative Services from posting on the Internet information disclosed on this form related to consideration received.
