Transfer of Duties of Local Health and Social Services Departments to Counties

Synopsis:

Authorizing a county to apply to the Secretary of Human Resources to enter into a grant agreement for State funds to be used by the county to administer the State social service and public assistance programs of the local department of social services in that county; authorizing a county to apply to the Secretary of Health and Mental Hygiene to enter into a grant agreement for State funds to be used by the county to administer the State health programs of the local health officer and local health department in that county.
